Poking around Paula's Pink Pussy (4 July 2002)

Thursday nights aren't a normal night out for me but hey, rules are made to be squidged about with, so why not. Julia and I had been trying to find a day that we were both free to go out for a drink and a girlie chat for ages and it just so happened that Thursday seemed the best option. As you can see, we both took the opportunity to do a bit of posing before heading across London. Usually I have to set my camera on the timer and run around the front before it goes 'flash' but with Julia acting as Lord Snowdon, it was a little easier this time! Our mission - to visit Paula's Pink Pussy. Actually, the mission was just to go out somewhere but as Paula's was open (as it is every Thursday) it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. Paula's is a trés fabulouso place (see in my venue review section for details), well worth a visit if you are around on a Thursday. Paula Pure is very welcoming and you will feel relaxed and at home in her company.

Here's Daisy May (from Sticky C'ntry don't y'know), on the left and Paula on the right. If you're wondering what all the stars and stripes are about, it was the 4th of July - US Independence Day and rather than dress up in a black suit and dark sunglasses, pretend to be Will Smith and try and whoop the ass of some goddam Aliens, a tribute to America was in order. A really fun night out, but just a tad on the loud side for Julia's poor hearing so we didn't really get our girlie chat. Have to try again another time!

And here's a piccie of me lounging about on my sofa. I really must do something about those yellow walls. Heavens only knows what the previous owner of my abode was thinking. You should have seen the shade of green that the bedroom was painted. Kind of like this... ... only 10 times more luminous!
