My Awards and Accolades!

Vicky's Vault started out as a place where I could post the occasional picture, both for vanity's sake, and also to hopefully provide other t*girls with a few stories to entertain and educate. In putting it together, it also became a resource for all things tranny, partly so that I could remember what on earth I'd been doing, but also to help others find out about places to go, to give a few tips on being a tranny and also to delve a bit into the darker side of trannying. In the process, one or two misguided people have clearly thought it sufficiently interesting to take the time to give my work a few awards. I'm very honoured by all those who have taken the time to write to me and tell me that they have enjoyed what I have written and am proud to present the following awards which I have been humbled to receive...

The UK Angels voted Vicky's Vault 'Best Personal UK T*Girl web-site 2003' which I am honoured to receive as there are so many good tranny sites to visit. What's more, I managed to achieve this without resorting to too many pictures of me in (and out of) my underwear either, which usually makes sites more popular. Mind you more of those kind of pictures would probably have had totally the wrong effect. Then again, maybe not...

Awarded the TGNI Award for Transgendered Excellence! from Transgendered Network International How dull life would be without award ceremonies - all those flouncy dresses and high heels. Sadly for me, none of the awards I've received so far have involved me being presented with anything in person (well not awards anyway, I've had lots of offers from men offering to present me with a very personal award!), but I live in hope. Here's another from TGNI who have presented me with this award for 'Transgendered Excellence!'

Not sure quite what to make of this award as I'm not 100% certain why I've received it or indeed what it really means, but the 'World Wide Information Site Award' was bestowed upon me for, from what I can gather, providing lots of information about the transgender scene around the world, and has some subtext to do with world peace as well, kind of a 'Nobel Peace Prize for Girls with Nobs'! Only too glad to be of service...!

Well after three months in the chart I finally made the number one position. Yes, I became 'Girl of the Month' for September 2002 at Transgender Galaxy. I was up against some stiff competition (oo-err missus) from some very sexy transvestites from all over the world. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, either on the T-Galaxy site or using the clever little device I added to my own web-site which made it much easier for you to push my button...

Hey! I've won an award from Transgenderweb. Apparently they liked my site so much they bought the company (or something like that). Anyway, nice to have some of my effort recognised. Thanks Transgenderweb. Note: Transgenderweb's site (and the one belonging to Petra who used to run it) has been taken over by some salacious porn organisation so the link to it has been removed. This doesn't mean I've made it all up, honest.

Well those awards just keep rolling in! This time I've been given a bronze award by the Beaumont Society, according to their e-mail to me, "...sites are judged on content, functionality, graphics and usefulness to the transgendered community. We spend a lot of time reviewing sites and not all make the grade. You have done a great job, keep up the good work!". Well my site will keep on growing as my experiences do. Silver award here I come!
