| I have 'umm'ed and 'aah'ed about whether or not to include a section on porn in Vicky's Vault. Some people prefer to pretend that such material doesn't exist, whereas for others it's an inevitable and enjoyable part of their transvestism. I think that it's impossible to just sweep pornography under the table (it leaves a bulge in the carpet) and that an open discussion of what goes on both in front of, and behind the scenes, is worth sharing. Much of what needs to be said about the content of tranny porn, has already been said in my discussion of transvestite sex. A completely naked transvestite, if not presented tastefully, is just a man. A naked transsexual, on the other hand, may have a lot more which is girlie about them. What is perhaps a little surprising is just how much transgender pornography there is on the internet, certainly if the amount kicking about is anything to go by, there must be an awful lot of hot blooded, males, females and everything inbetween who want to see what goes on in a tranny's boudoir! The range of material is also surprising, from amateurs who set up their own sites and whose quality varies from the unquestionably home-made to highly professional, to massive commercial sites with endless picture galleries and videos. To some extent, tranny porn is a bit of a fetish and as such many of the sites also have strong fetish themes including high heels, anal sex (well obviously) and bondage.

Do It Yourself!One question which I occasionally get asked is whether or not it's worth getting involved in any kind of pornographic picture or video shoot. On the face of it, if the kind of material which appears on tranny porn sites excites you, you might think that being on the other side of the screen might be a lot of fun. Whether or not you're happy showing your bits to the world is up to you (there's very little profit in pictures of trannies with their clothes on!) But BEWARE - once something is published on the internet it is almost impossible to stop its circulation, even years into the future. Whilst you might be young and fancy free now, take a short moment to think about what your future partner (or family) might think if they found out. Actually, this brings us onto a rather odd aside… What if someone you know saw pictures of you in a compromising pose? If they rushed up to you and 'threatened' to out you, your immediate response would be 'What were you doing looking at that kind of material in the first place?' And thus one of the great enablers of tranny anonymity is revealed - anyone who finds out and thinks it is worthy of black-mail is equally open to the same back at them for having been looking for that kind of material in the first place. Back to business: For a glamour photo shoot, which can often take 3 or 4 hours, and which requires you to pose in various states of undress, and not to be coy about it, do not expect to be paid more than about £200 (US$300). Whilst you might think that pictures of you without your pants on would sell for a fortune, in reality this kind of material is too tame to make most webmasters (and thus you) much money. If you're prepared to get down and dirty with someone else in front of the lens, you might be paid twice this, if you're lucky. The whole tranny modelling experience is not as sexy as you might think. Often you will have to 'hold that pose' for quite a while whilst the photographer gets the right shot. And if you're going 'hardcore' you might have to remain aroused for several hours!I have been approached to do some glamour modelling. It can be flattering to think that you are sufficiently attractive or glamorous that someone feels you would make a good subject (I guess the fact that I ran a London club added to the 'value') but in the end, I decided that it was not for me. Not that I am a prude, too righteous or precious (there are several 'porn stars' as well as porn web-mistresses amongst the trannies that I would venture to number amongst my friends) I just that I want what goes on in my bedroom to stay there!
