| Wasn't it Mick Jagger and David Bowie that once sang, "Summer's here so the time is right, for dancing in a skirt…"? Or was that Martha and the Vandellas? Well either way, I guess they had it right. July is typically the start of the warm summer months in the UK and I figured that by the time we reached the date for the July Trans-MISSION it would be warm and sunny and chose an outfit to suit. Sadly it was 12-19C on the day, blustery with showers. Summer? What summer! |

 Don't ask me what was going on in the pictures above - I'm always experimenting with different poses but on this occasion I seem to have ended up looking as if I am desperate to go to the ladies room!Back to more sanity and here's me and my good friend Becky Envérité at London's award-winning tranny club Trans-MISSION. The day of Trans-MISSION had also been the day for the London LGBT pride celebrations which, for the first time in 3 years, I couldn't make due to the clash. Becky had been though and said it had been fun. Again it rained (as it did last year) but she and her girlfriends enjoyed it none the less.  Finally for this session, a picture of me with Nicola who I have seen many a time at TX but never really spoken to. Or at least so I though. It turns out that Nicola accidentally once left some of her property (I won't embarass her by saying what) at TX and I was responsible for returning it to her. My how we laughed…! |
