Well the truth, as always, is not quite what you might have imagined… By 'Bl&W' I mean 'Black & White'! My favourite local gay nightclub 'Reflex' was having a black and white night, with free entry if you were wearing Black/and/or/White and so I donned my best collection of the two as being a Yorkshire girl at heart, the thought of getting anything for free is always a draw!   My friend Kelly La Rock had come down for the weekend and brought a black and white outfit too. She might not be from Yorkshire but even Kelly appreciates that free entry to a fun club for free is worth a pop.Thankfully it wasn't quite as cold in London as it had been the previous week, so though I had got a jacket, Kelly decided that she'd stick with her 'Ayia Napa' outfit! Thankfully Reflex had their heating turned up so she could pretend that she was in Cyprus, which with the Roman style columns and marble effect decorations, wasn't as far from ancient Greece as you might imagine. Another fab night at Reflex, though quieter than usual (I think many of the students from Kingston University and Epsom College who often inhabit the place had other places to go). No doubt I'll be back again soon. Anyone for a New Year's Eve party in a couple of weeks time…? |
