Not a lot to say this month. It's the first time in what must be over a year that I got ready for Trans-MISSION at home with no-one else around so there are only the obligatory pictures of me this time. I did take a few at Trans-MISSION itself but the lighting was rather odd (it not being dark outside or in) and they didn't come out that well so you'll have to make do with these!Trans-MISSION was, as always, a blast - though I spend the evening as a 'working girl', DJing and being a hostess, it's a job I wouldn't swap for anything. With the temperature hotting up in the UK (according to the BBC it's currently 30°C as I sit here writing this!) it's a godsend that there are not one, but two air conditioning units on the dance-floor and another one in the lounge so it always stays nice and cool. Heavens only knows what would happen if we hit 38°C again like we did last August - whilst it will be cool in the club, getting there, even with a car with aircon, will be rather a hot experience. Speaking of hot experiences, if you're in the UK and reading this - don't forget Trans-MISSION's *free* second birthday party in Manchester on Saturday 19 June…! |
