What better way to kick-off 2005 than with another party at London's top tranny club Trans-MISSION. And what with everyone being in the party spirit, with it being the end of the Christmas/New Year holiday it was a rather fabulous party too! The previous day, the UK had been battered by lots of high winds but thankfully by the Saturday night, most of it had calmed down, trees had been cleared off blocked roads and lots of people ventured out to join the celebrations. Can you believe that this was our thirtieth Trans-MISSION? If you include the ones we have done around the UK that takes us to something like 34 events in total. If you haven't gotten down to one yet then you don't know what you're missing! |

Over the years that Jasmine and I have been running the club, we've always tried to improve things. Recently we purchased this rather large banner with which to adorn the walls of the various venues we have used (it even has my name just to the right of my head in this picture!) In case you can't read the web-address (come on, you must know it by now, surely), it's www.trans-mission.org.As I said, many wonderful transvestite and transsexual friends were joining in the celebrations but I ended up chatting with them instead of taking too many photos (what on earth must have come over me…?!), I do have one however, with my good friend, Becky EnVérité… |

So that's it for this month. I'm off on my travels again (for work sadly) so am unlikely to be around and about much more in January, but I did catch wind of a few people with birthdays in the coming months who are intending to celebrate in the time-honoured fashion of having a party so who knows where I might end up this year…!Lastly let me take this opportunity to wish you a very happy 2005 and don't forget that it was a wise man (Ogden Nash) who once said, "There is only one way to achieve happiness on this terrestrial ball, and that is to have either a clear conscience or none at all"! |
