Here's one though, taken just after I got ready and just before I head off to 'The Extra Time Bar' to start getting that ready too, if you follow me? Typical of London traffic, when I leave home at about 5.30pm it takes me nearly an hour and a half to get over to the Barbican. When I leave the Barbican at 3am (having deconstructed the club - and a bonus point for naming three acts on the 'Deconstruction' record label) it takes me only 45 minutes! That Ken Livingstone has a lot to answer for. In the last mayoral elections in London, I voted for the guy that wanted all cornershops to give out free alcohol after midnight, but despite his obviously sound policy, he didn't get elected. There's no justice in the world. |
Aren't a load of angels called a 'choir'? Well, here's me with a load of the UK Angels, though I doubt very much that if we all started singing it would be much of a chorus! |
And last, but by no means least: Here's DJ Vicky on the decks, spinning the wheels of steel (well, plastic actually as I DJ off of CD these days). This time at Trans-MISSION we had turned the place upside-down with the dancefloor being on the top floor and the changing room in the basement, and it seemed to have the desired effect. I think it was one of the best nights we've had, as everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Really looking forward to the next one on December 7. |
