Stormes Closing Night (13 April 2002)

Stormes is (was) an institution among trannies. Having only been strutting my stuff on the tranny dancefloors of London for a short while I can't claim to be a long-time attendee but I know its closure will be a loss to a lot of people. That being said, I thought I'd better go to the closing night to join the throng paying our final respects. A more casual get-up this time. A nice short denim skirt (with sparkly bits in it), a denim jacket, my BridgeClimb t-shirt and high-heeled boots. Nice legs! Thanks ;o) As you might imagine, for such a prestigious occasion, everyone who is anyone was there, so I took the opportunity to do a bit of mingling and get lots of pictures of myself with the famous, infamous and downright megastartastic. Here's a collection including… Me and Pandora. Funny, all the times I've been out with her, this is the first time I've got a photo of us together. Me and Miss Debonair with her hair in a nice new black bob. Me and Frankie, who, together with partner Wendy was videoing the occasion. I have a worrying suspicion that there is some footage of me doing the dance to 'Tragedy' by Steps…

Me and Jodie Lynn of The Boudoir who I met for the first time. Me and Miss Jaynie, can you tell we had only 4 hours sleep the night before? No? Testament to Jodie's make-up so far as Jaynie is concerned and testament to Red Bull as far as I am! Well, there you have it. A sad farewell to Andrea Hillaire's Stormes for the time being, but rumour has it that it will be re-opening at a new location elsewhere in London soon. If and when I hear anything I will, of course, let you know.
