 It was a night of jaunty camera angles. Sadly, the other photos taken on a slope were just too silly for publication. This one of me on the left was a self-portrait, but for some reason isn't quite vertical, something I am all too unfamiliar with being. It was my first night DJing at the Rabar. The event was called 'Bubblegum' and despite my pleas, my Steps collection remained unplayed. Still, I did manage to sneak some S Club 7 and a bit of Christina Aguilera in there just for good measure.The Rabar deserves a quick plug as it's a fantastic little bar with one of the friendliest atmospheres I have ever come across. Hounslow (where it is located) may not be the centre of the tranny (or gay) universe but if you in that part of the world, it's definitely worth a visit. T*girls are always welcome and it's not at all uncommon to find other transvestites and transsexuals there on any night (or day) of the week. |
 Here you are look. Just to prove that I was DJing at the Rabar, here's a picture of me on the decks. It was also a surprise party for Alison and there were quite a few t*girls in residence.I'll leave you with a shot of Kim, Gail and me, chilling out in that cosy corner of the bar that always seems to become a haven for t*girls. Maybe it should have a special name, like 't*girl-corner'. Now I'm absolutely convinced that there must be a more imaginative name than that. But can I think of one? No. Unless 'Corneration Treat'. No. Perhaps not. Back to the drawing board Vicky…  |
