Vicky's Vault - Tranny pictures galore

The South Bank and Stormes (27 July 2002)
thrumpSo my best friend (when I'm not being Vicky) tells me that his girlfriend who is a singer with the (Gold Medal Award Winning) Surrey Women's Barbershop is performing in a concert on the South Bank in London along with the London Gay Men's Choir and would I like to go along. Well like most places where there are lots of gay people around it is unlikely they would baulk at having a tranny there so I booked 2 tickets and awaited the day to arrive.

Saturday 27 July turned out to be a very hot day in London (25C and that sticky humidity that's difficult to describe unless you've experienced it) - not ideal for wearing anything much at all. So with a short skirt, bare legs and some lovely new high heels I set forth through the sultry city with Julia in tow.

thrumphNow it's quite possible that you don't really believe me when I say that, as a transvestite, I occasionally head out to very public places like the Queen Elizabeth Hall (quite appropriate given what we were going to see?!) on London's cultural South Bank with all those people around so Julia took a photo of me in the audience just before the concert started to prove it to you.

As for the concert - BRILLIANT! The audience were very enthusiastic and the performers responded by giving a wonderful rendition of such classics as 'Can't get you out of my head' (yes, a Kylie number!) and other selected classic from amongst their modern and timeless repertoire. If you fancy something cultural (but not too much) and a really fun night out to boot, the LGMC is worth seeing for sure.
talentfudgeAnd as we were in the area, I felt it was about time that I finally paid a visit to Stormes to see what the new venue at the Black Horse was like. I've put a review in my review section (where else?!) but Julia Meadows (who gossip, gossip told me that she is now in the full-time employ of Pandora) was there. It was a very hot and sticky night and we look remarkably well considering how runny your make-up can get!
To finish this montage, here's Julia (Lacey) who was out with me together with drag queen Minnie who we had met on a previous soiree at Paula's - guess who is who…
