Happy Birthday to, errm… me! (27 September 2002)

Being a 'queen' it seems only fair that I should have two birthdays: an official one, and another one for good measure. As you will have spotted around a month ago, my official birthday, bestowed upon me by officialdom, 'Vicky's Birthday' is 23 August. But I have another birthday a month later in September…! Work that out if you can. Having thoroughly enjoyed going to Reflex nightclub a fortnight ago, it seemed the ideal place to meet up with the girls, boys, and everything inbetween, and celebrate my birthday. And once again, a fabulous night was had by all - I can see Friday nights at Reflex becoming a regular thing. Here I am on the left, doing the obligatory tranny posing, before hitting the town. Some of the girls came over to celebrate with me (well Alison and Sandra hardly need an excuse to party as don't most trannies I know) including Serena, a brave 'real-girl' friend of mine who had never been to a gay club before, let alone spend a night out with the girls - what's more she loved it up like a natural.

From left to right… Alison, Serena, me and Sandra I've said it before and I'll say it again, Reflex on a Friday is a super place to go. A relaxed atmosphere and a great crowd. The music is a bit handbag but then again what do you expect - it is a gay club after all? It also has the advantage of being in West London which for me (any anyone else who lives this side of London or in Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire or Buckinghamshire) is quite a bit more handy than the main East London tranny venues. Plug over (and no, I'm not involved in the club at all).

Here, on the right, is the ever bubbly Sarah (you remember, the girl who greets you at the door of Trans-MISSION) with Serena and me. Alison does her best 'UK Angel' impression…

Maybe I should have chopped this picture off a little higher to leave you wondering exactly how much clothing they weren't wearing…! I told you the crew at Reflex were a friendly bunch didn't I?!
