 Being camera-girl I had to stand behind the lense for the group picture but here's one of me lounging in my lounge!  However our first stop of the evening was a (gay) bar named Kudos which is just off the Strand. A nice place to hang out before Heaven opens and obviously connected as you could pick up flyers to get you priority entry to Heaven from handily placed people around the joint.Now I'd love to show you what the inside of Heaven looks like, but we had to leave our cameras outside (and Wednesdays claim to be 'tranny-friendly' - doesn't sound like they know us that well!!) However the music was excellent (even Jasmine was impressed) and we boogied the night away amongst the heaving throng. There were very few other transvestites, transsexuals or similar in there, the Wednesday night 'Powder Puff Room' having long since closed with just the main dance floor (Fruit Machine) and an R&B room open. |

A fabby place to go dancing but don't expect to meet lots of other girls there. (I will, of course, put a full review in my reviews section!) And so home… Here we see Anastasia, Me, Chris and Julia still smiling despite dancing for hour in heels (which reminds me - not a lot of places to rest your feet in Heaven), mincing our way down the Strand back to Julia's car.My thanks to Julia for driving, and to Anastasia for throwing some shade. Oh, and I only counted Jasmine saying, 'I've got that' as the DJ played a tune 6 times (though perhaps I wasn't listening hard enough!) |
